The north of the country has a desert climate and it actually is good to visit almost throughout the year.
The most ideal time however , would be for spring and autumn.
During the winter (summer months in Europe) many places in the middle and south of Chile becomes inaccessible due to heavy snow fall. This situation can improve between November and April.

The word “Intramuros� literally means “inside the walls�.
Intramuros is in the heart of Manila, Philippines. This 64-hectare area is segregated from the rest of the city by its four massive walls which were built during the Spanish-colonial period. The walls were constructed as defenses when the Spaniards realized the threat of invasion by foreign intruders. From 1571 to 1898, this “city within the city� functioned as the seat of the government of the Spanish and American regimes. During those times, the city was occupied by palaces, churches, monasteries, schools and wealthy residences. However, during World War II, most of the structures were reduced into rubble.
